Destiny's Queen is this month's ve ry first short story, and it's now available on pre-order. It's one of the few times I've written a ghost, but is also a story that explores the obligations of being a fantasy queen, and the hazards of being eligible royalty. What's it About? In Destiny's Queen her royal majesty must work at overcoming the assassination of her lover and fiance, and the death of her maid, in order to find a suitable match with whom to secure her kingdom, so of course on the night of the ball in which she must choose a suitor, her fiance's ghost returns to haunt her, and the assassin who claimed him, returns as well.
