CM Simpson: Writer & Gamer

I ran behind on this one, but it's out and the next one is scheduled. Saturdays for Sandrock.

 It's been a while since the final book in the Mack 'n' Me 'n' Odyssey series , Mack 'n' Me: Diplomacy 101 , was published, but that doesn't mean these characters are done - even if it's going to take me a little while to get the next series written. (It's in the queue, but I have five more Strays books to write, first.) Given the large number of short stories that take place between these novels, I thought it might be helpful to put them all in one place, in the order in which the events in them occurred in relation to the novels, and to add a couple more completely new for the characters. And so, this collection was born...and it needed a cover...and here it is. This is the first cover Jake at JCaleb Design created for my work, and is a milestone in itself.

Getting over the covid booster and the flu took a bit longer than anticipated and it's taken me ten days to get back to 2022's Poetry Challenge. You will notice that the poem shown is a number out of a larger number, and that is because I'm sometimes writing more than one poem a day. The extract will always be taken from the first poem of the day so, without further ado, here is the entry from Day 1 of Streak 2 - today.
