It is taken from 366 Days of Poetry , a collection of mixed-genre poetry released in 2016. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------   Where Do You Live? “Do you live in the hills?” he said, he did. “Do you live way up there in the rocks?” “I live in the hills,” I replied, I did, “safe in the rocks in the hills.” “Will you show me where?” he said, he did, “so that I may come calling there?” “Why don’t I come see you,” I carefully replied, “in your home in the valley below?” “But it is a long way, from your hills and your rocks,” he said, he did, he said, “and we are both here, by the stream, with our socks.” I took my washing and fled. -------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 3 Excerpt – The Beast Side Emerges Dear Tiger, You know how you said you’d try to stop me from eating something I’d regret when I remembered? Well, I think you failed. You know how I had a collection of little critters? I don’t have that collection any more. They’re all gone, Tiges… and I feel like I’ve eaten enough for twenty of me. There’s fur and feathers everywhere… and blood, so much blood. I’m going to need to clean things up in here. It’s a mess of congealing brown with highlights of red. And the smell… ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The complete series is available as short, individual ebooks, and will become available as an omnibus, later this year.
