First Words - Friday, March 21, 2025: Dark God's Demise,

Image
After two days of flu, I've returned to the writing desk. First words for each project, today, are posted in social as the day's work for that project is done.Today's were not as many as I was trying for, but those I achieved are collated here.   Project 1: Dark God's Demise (Day's Words: ) Raomar met twice more with the mage lord. Once at mid-week so they could update each other on the preparations being made and, once more, to travel down the mountain. Sindra was too weak to travel, so they left her mending linen for the priests and working on a tapestry. Watching her reminded Raomar of the way Xanthia had sewn in Wildejun’s temple—only Sindra did not stitch each stitch as though it would be her last. She stitched as though each stitch would protect her from the dangers from beyond the healers’ door.

NEW RELEASE: Dark God Emergent (3RD EDITION)...and some questions answered.

I know, some of you will be thinking this book isn't new. You're right, but the EDITION is new. Long story short, when I began recording readings for my YouTube channel, I found a few things that required fixing, and that a chapter restructure was also needed. The rewrite of Dark God's Rise , Book 2, is complete, and the book is undergoing audio-editing, of which there are 18 chapters to go. That book is penciled in for a January 2024 release date, and will be availab...

This tale contains strong elements of horror, following the path of a small group of heroes who must work together to prevent an ancient evil’s escape. High Priest Urkhrist has settled to his task as the keeper of Beauwallin’s prison. With his long-time friend and companion, Vorgren, guarding his back, and the spymaster’s apprentice, Tara Bloodthorn, acting as his representative in the city of Thargood, he had thought the battle over, but something is wrong. Beauwallin stirs within his prison, and wizards, priests and sorcerers are being taken from Thargood’s streets. The pattern is similar to the one they saw when Beauwallin attempted to break free the last time. Gilzereet must find out if the Old One is trying to escape, again, and discover how he is garnering the power to do so—and then he must try to find a way to defeat him, to succeed, where a pantheon of gods has already failed.
