Yesterday's Words #6 - Andromeda's Pledge #1

The day before yesterday, I started a work-for-hire (WFH) project, so my routine got adjusted - which I always find hard to adapt to. So, the day before yesterday, I managed 2,000 words on what I will call WFH01. I can't share any of those. Yesterday, I reached my word minimum for that project (4,000) and then fitted in another 2,000 words on Andromeda's Pledge . Here are some of them: Words from the 10th: Andromeda's Pledge (Chapter 7):  Back on the command deck, her father bowed his head as the crew briefly applauded. “Nice work, Adriksson. Words from yesterday, which ended up being a short day as my headache worsened into nausea and a head cold or mild flu...or something...at least I know why I was having trouble concentrating. I looked at Mack, and Mack looked at me, and then we both looked around at our visitors, our gazes passing over a rapidly sobering Tens and Abby, and then moving on to take the two lizardine into account. “You mean we’re not?” I asked, disappointment edging my voice. Mack was more direct. “Why the Hell else would the four of you come unannounced and uninvited into Cutter’s private quarters, unless there was some kind of trouble going down?” From the way he said it, he was telling th...

Novel Completed! — Mack ‘n’ Me: The Transporter’s Favour

On Sunday, I finished the fourth novel in the Mack ‘n’ Me ‘n’ Odyssey series. Now, I have to let is sit aside so I can edit it properly, which is really difficult to do, when all I want to do is edit it and turn it loose so it can be read. I’m aiming at having it out at the end of the month, but I want it looking its best. So – yay! This book is done, and it’s time to start plotting the next.
