Continuing with our experimentation with a third variant of didactic cinquain, this piece was all about the mermaid, another creature of myth. Scaled Seduction Mermaids Scaled, sweet-voiced, Bathe in sun and shoreline surf Drawing eyes of longing fear Sirens  

This week’s verse moves from  a science fiction verse about grollups to a fantasy verse about mermaids. This week’s verse moves from an urban fantasy rhyme about trolls and bridges to a fantasy terza rima about mermaids.
