Currently only at the CreateSpace store, the third volume, fantasy and urban fantasy, of the short work released in 2014, will soon be available in print form from other vendors. This is the last one I've put out in both large and normal print versions . From here on out, I'll be doing large-print only due to time constraints on formatting. A collection of flash fiction, short stories, poems and essays where the genres of fantasy and urban fantasy explore depression, fear, facing the unexpected, and working through difficult situations. It is of adapting to a changing world, to dealing with fear, and about exploring a world where trolls, pixies, unicorns and fairies might be real. This collection is about the myths of the world, the fairytale world, the never was, and might have been.

Finally! This collection took its own sweet time coming together, but I finalised the last edit and upload, today. It's chock-full of fantasy, with a strong focus on trolls, pixies, and dragons, and includes many of the short pieces that helped me build the pixie-dust and troll-hunter settings. You can currently find it up for pre-order on Smashwords, and it's ready for distribution via Draft2Digital, CreateSpace, DriveThruFiction, and Amazon. There is a print-on-demand version in both large-print and mass-market paperback coming, too. Even though last week was the first week back at university, I still managed a bit on the writing and publishing front – but now I know I’m in for a heavy few weeks. This semester, with no supervisors anywhere to be found for any of the nine questions I’d be interested in chasing for an Honours or PhD, I’m gearing up to go writing full-time next year. This semester, I can’t afford to put my writing and publishing on the back-burner in favour of my academics. Things are going to get “interesting”.   Week 4 Progress New words produced: 6,329 Outlines and Notes: 0 Works completed: 1 ( Wheelchair Mermaid ) Works completely edited: 1 ( C.M. This week, I received this cover for the short works I worked on in 2014. This is the first volume of that collection, and it will be released on January 2, 2016. Short Works 2014 - ebook cover Short Works 2014 - PoD large print cover Short Works 2014 - PoD mass market cover Last year’s anthology consisted only of the short stories and poems worked on, created re-written or published in 2013. This year’s anthology consists of all the short stories and poems that I created, or discovered in my files and rewrote in 2014, including the pieces from 365 Days of Flash Fiction and 365 Days of Poetry that have already been included in Volumes 1 and 2 of last year’s collections. The tales and poems are taken from completed anthologies, and anthologies to come, from my blog, and from my notebooks. Most are published, either individually or in a collection, but some are scheduled for release at some time in the future. I have also inc...
