I knocked over the beer. On purpose. In front of everyone. And then I ran. I think I saved the starman. The only question is: Can anyone save me? From the raiders and the forest. Can anyone save any of us?   The Starman's Arrival is another colony story from the Odyssey universe, and tells the story of the colony's chronicler's timely encounter with a visitor from a passing ship...and first contact with the planet's primary inhabitants. Just a quick note to say that the science fiction short story The Starman's Arrival is now released in ebook form. It will come out, mid- to late- next year, in paperback, as part of the collected short works anthology for this year. I did it on purpose, in front of everyone, and then I did the only thing I could—I ran. I think I saved the starman.
