NEW RELEASE: Ducky

Image
Ducky  has just been uploaded for immediate release. It is one of my earliest pieces, and one of my very few experimental pieces. It plays with the idea of interconnectedness, from both the perspective of a story's connections with the real world and from the perspective of connections between characters and the broader elements of their world...and it is told from three perspectives What's it About? Survivors of a virus on the rampage: an analyst, his ex-, and his dead daughter in three-way communication. Can he catch up with an uncontrolled disease vector, and stop the spread in time? Where will it be available? The stakes were high within the grove where scientists played, though they did know the heavens watched from far above   Chaining viral vectors, hand in glove that soon escaped, though we were slow to fight for our lives and those we love.   The end came swift, and our thoughts were of the way events had ebbed and flowed, the heavens watching from far above.   And mankind’s tale a story wove from brilliant thought to disaster sown, as we fought...
