Progress Report Week 1 May 2012

Current Projects:
These are in the current priority order, which represents the order I tackle things in any given day. I usually only get to the first two projects on this list on any given day. The order will change as contracts in the ‘on hold’ list are signed, edits and playtest deadlines received. The daily ‘quota’ is either 1,000 words or a full chapter revised.

Completed:
ShortStory15: Completely revised at 1,719 words. This is the second entry in Anthology4.
Poem7: Completely revised 12 lines and 101 words. This is the third entry in Anthology4.
ShortStory16: Completely revised at 2,735 words. This is sixth entry in Anthology4.
ShortStory17: Completely revised at 5,078 words. This is the first entry in Anthology4.
Poem8: Completely revised at 249 words. This is the fourth entry in Anthology4.
ShortStory18: Completely revised at 6,829 words.

On-Going:
CrimeNovel1: Nil progress.
RomanceNovel1: Nil progress.

These novels return to the top of the priority list this week and should be completed in the fortnight, along with ShortStory19.

Started:
Anthology4: To consist of 5 revised stories and 2 revised poems.
ShortStory19: 1,646 revised, but the story needs completing.
Annual1: A themed diary.
Annual2: A themed diary.

Projects on ‘Hold’:

All projects on hold remain static.

Backburner Projects:

All Backburner Projects remain static.

New Arrivals:

These are ideas that occur to me while I work on other things. I write them down until I reach the point they require conscious, planned effort, and then stop and return to the project at hand.

Annual1 and Annual2 – but I hasten to clarify. These were part of a bunch of planned anthologies from four months ago, so they’re not really new. Only other news on this front is that one of the YASeries I was looking at converting has clarified so that now I have a cohesive background to replace what needed replacing. Gotta be happy with that.
