As you may already know, I'm a member of the International Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors (IASFA), which supports SFF authors, regardless of where in their career, they're at. And as you also might already know, the IASFA runs a promotion of free or 99c books every month, where they ask for a reader's first name and email address so they can add that reader to their newsletter mailing list. It's been a while since I've been here to share what I've been up to in the writing and gaming sphere. A lot has happened. I'll endeavour to do better. Starting today, I'll post whatever the day's video is, and, if I can, I'll post a little about my writing, although that last bit is a bit hard as most of my words are going to a project that's under NDA. I'll talk about it, if and when I can.  In the meantime, here is another episode from my current Final Fantasy XIV Online series, as I go about learning and exploring the game.

On the writing front, we have today's reading. With the arrival of the Heritage, things get serious, and Laurie discovers the truth about her computer mentor. The ebook from which this reading is taken is currently free over at the Smashwords 2023 Summer/Winter Sale. You can find it most easily on my Smashwords author page, which is here:  https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/cmsimpsonwriter
