After a Long Time Away...

...the good news is that I am slowly getting back into the swing of things.

The year has been a bit turbulent, with a lot of Life events, leading, as they do, to Life changes. I have written more work-for-hire than I planned, in order to cover an unexpected employment shift, and my parents have both been very sick in the last few months, although one is now recovering as well as can be expected, and the other is doing okay despite being in palliative care.

These events and the time taken to look for a more regular day job, have impacted my own writing, which slowed to a complete stop, even though I've completed four joint projects and am working on a fifth. As well as that, I'm also sure those of you who've been following my YouTube channels have seen the effects of these changes, there, as well.

Don't worry; we're working to change that, and you'll see some of those changes this month, one of which will involve this blog, which has been long neglected and will now see more frequent updates. I'll also surface more regularly on Twitter-now-X, and my Facebook author pages, as well as Linked-In. This post is the start of those changes, although there are more.

There have been two major changes on the writing front.

The first is my Patreon page, where I'll be sharing poetry and flash fiction with my patrons. It's up and ready to roll, and you can find the link below.

The other major change is the addition of a ReamStories subscriptions page, where I'm already making my books accessible to my subscribers, one chapter at a time, with some backlist titles already fully readable, depending on the subscription tier a reader chooses. You can find that page-link below.

On the gaming front, my YouTube Let's Play channel now offers members the ability to nominate and vote on what they want to see in one of the ten content slots set aside for them, and I'm looking at other rewards, but need to make sure I don't overextend. Once that is settled, I'll begin paying more attention to my YouTube writing channel.

I'll announce new writing projects, or the progress on writing projects in another post. For now, though, I can say there will be some short stories released as stand-alones, and the work on the second book in the Chronicles of a Dark God, the fifth Strays of Lunar One book, and the fourth Ransomeers book continues.

And it's nice to be back, even if only for a short post.
