Australian Birds: Red Wattlebird ( Anthochaera carunculata)

This very hard to approach, photograph and see bird is a red wattlebird. If you look closely, you can see the red bits dangling just below its 'ears'. I have seen a yellow wattlebird, as well, but only in Tasmania. This one was photographed in Canberra, and was definitely not in a cooperative mood.
