Mack 'n' Me 'n' Odyssey Series Now Available from Smashwords

Last week was a fairly busy week. In addition, to uploading the last and latest edition of 365 Days of Flash Fiction to its first three distributors, I was finally able to upload the Mack 'n' Me 'n' Odyssey series to Smashwords. You can find the series page HERE: https://www.smashwords.com/books/byseries/32894.

Each individual title, and the three boxed sets can be found on the Smashwords Mack 'n' Me 'n' Odyssey series page.

I ran away from home to find a better life—not be forced into one. You can call me picky, but a girl likes to be asked if she wants to work for you, not coerced—and Odyssey should know better. Now, I have to find a way to kick free—of Odyssey, and my trainer, Mack—without getting myself killed. Surviving the mission is just the first step. Getting out from under, that’s gonna take some doing.

Mack 'n' Me: Blaedergil's Host

I stayed off Mack's radar for a good three months, or so I'd thought. Maybe he was just letting me run. He found me, kicked my ass and hauled me right back on board. He'd been doing that on and off for the past twelve months. Problem was, Odyssey was also on my tail, and, when this job was done, Mack was supposed to hand me back. Not gonna happen. And, now I was back to Square One: Kick free of Odyssey & kick free of Mack... just as soon as the mission was done, because how could I turn my back on *that*?

Nothing ruins a good cup of kaff than a spider teleporting on board… and these were in the six-foot-business-suite-and-tie range, all carrying blasters and a sense of entitlement like you wouldn’t believe. They gave me a job to do, and held my ship hostage while I went to do it—and that’s when everything went all to Hell. Exactly how I’m gonna get us out of this one, is a mystery to me. First step, though, is to bust Mack and the ship right out of their eight-legged claws. Piece of cake. Right?

Abby hauled me off the ship before Tens had a chance to stop her—and that’s okay, because I already owed Abs a favor. In fact, it was better than okay, because it showed us how much trouble we hadn’t known we were in. But going against the Star Shadow hunt pack? Nullifying their contract to keep ourselves unchained and at large? That was gonna be something else entirely.

A relic from a near-forgotten war, an escaped concubine, and planetary annexation. When Mack’s hunt for a crashed war ship goes terribly wrong, Cutter and the crew find themselves embroiled in the politics of rebellion, inter-species warfare and inter-clan domination. Throw in clan rivalries and a cub in need of rescue, and a simple wreck retrieval becomes a matter of life, death and Odyssey. The only question is just how much trouble they can get into before they need help getting back out…and if someone will be there to aid them.

Judge, jury and executioners—the lizardine are holding court and all humankind stands before them. They’ll bring us to heel, or they’ll destroy us all…and they have the means.

Getting their emissary to the courtroom and then home again should be an easy matter—but some people just don’t know what’s good for them. With pirates, mercs and corps gone bad we’ve got our work cut out. The only question is whether we can keep our charge—and all humanity—alive.

This omnibus collects the first three books of the Mack ‘n’ Me ‘n’ Odyssey series chronicling her journey. Kicking free of them takes her onto the ‘Shady Marie’ and its not-so-merry band of mercenaries. Now she has to discover if she’s really leapt from the frying pan to the fire, or if life aboard the Shady is going to be better than she dares to hope. Join her as she finds out exactly that.
