Poetry Challenge - Introducing the Acrostic Form 4: The Multiple Acrostic Type 1
An acrostic may use more than one letter, syllable or word in each line.
WItches celebrate this day, some say,
Not those whose souls are pure
TErribly often do they forget those who may
Reverently worship on this short day of cold
SOon to celebrate the season’s passing
Losing the cold, rest days
STIll the spring is coming
CErtain warmth and new growth at play.
Why don’t you give it a try? Try writing at least one double acrostic
for each day of this week.
