Tick-Tock Go the Clocks

Written on July 22, 2015, for the April 7 entry of 366 Days of Poetry, this piece reminds us that every minute of our life is marked.

Tick-tock goes the clock,

moving seconds through the day,

moving seconds as minutes fall,

speeds our end forward, no delays.

And, as our ends speed forward, we stay

so grateful to the clocks,

who mark our times and count our days.
