Progress Report—July 1-7, 2018

Last week was, by any standard, a mix of disaster and progress. I had two check-ups to make sure things were healing properly in my leg… which also means that I didn’t get back to my fitness regime—and then I finished the week with two days of fever, one of which consisted of throwing up for most of the day. Not fun, and not something I want to repeat, any time soon.
Apart from that, and having a child home sick, it wasn’t a bad week. Words were done, and I slowly started to pick up the pieces of my shattered schedule, coming close to finishing the novel I’d wanted to finish in June, while moving forward on other projects. Here’s what was achieved in spite of things not going entirely to plan:
